Wuyi Mountain is home to red (black) tea, but primarily the origin of rock teas, a backed kind of Oolong tea grown originally in steep sandstone terrain. Baijiguan is quite young cultivar and this one here is grown at the Northern hills beyond Sanyang Mountain, outside the UNESCO World heritage park, which makes it affordable, compared to Baijiguan from inside the park.
